Leading with Art, Growing with Purpose

Leadership, to me, is not about standing above but standing beside—creating a space where everyone leads in their own way. Every project I undertake reflects this belief, allowing each team member to take charge of different aspects. This approach fosters empowerment, creativity, and a shared vision, leading to extraordinary results.

One of the most powerful experiences of my journey was a three-day art camp, exhibition, and performance in the lush, tropical landscape of Bangladesh. This was not just an event—it was the culmination of a year of planning, three months of hands-on preparation, and an execution that lasted only three days. Hosted at Shishupolli Plus, a shelter and rescue center for women and children affected by social violence in Gazipur, Dhaka, we transformed the 18 acre large space into a vibrant hub of artistic expression.

Workshops, installations, public art, art therapy, and social awareness activities filled every corner of the space, engaging over 600 sheltered women and children. My personal performance was unlike any other—I became a living, breathing canvas, painted by children who had endured trauma. They had no fear in painting on another human body, and through this act, we created something raw, healing, and profound. The artwork from this event was later displayed at Roy G Biv Gallery, Columbus, Ohio along with my performance which engaged over 50 visitors in 2023, bridging two worlds through the power of art.

In 2025, my journey took me to Vienna, Austria, where I collaborated with Artist Elke Schmoelzer at Gallery Steiner in the heart of the city’s old town. This partnership, months in the making, allowed us to explore women’s lives and journeys through our joint creations. The gallery not only provided a platform but also immense support, making the experience deeply enriching. Our work was exhibited there, and we are set to conclude this collaboration at the New York Art Expo 2025, bringing our vision to a global audience.

These experiences have strengthened my resolve to push boundaries, work on larger platforms, and embrace the dynamism of working with diverse groups. I see myself as a work in progress, constantly evolving, learning from every person, every place, and every creation. And that, to me, is the most exhilarating part of the journey.
