My Journey in Gallery Management

I never imagined I’d own an art gallery.

I’ve been painting ever since I was a little girl. After attending art school, my life took me through many phases—personally and artistically. But never in my wildest dreams did I see myself as the owner of an art gallery. It happened in the most organic way, and now it feels like a beautiful responsibility—almost like raising a child.

Owning and managing a gallery is a completely new journey for me. Every day brings new lessons, and with time, things that once felt scattered are slowly falling into place. The best part? Meeting so many amazing local artists and witnessing the richness of creativity in our community.

Gallery Lumina is located at 5043 Tuttle Crossing Blvd, Suite 257, Dublin, Ohio 43016. We are open every day except Wednesdays and Sundays. Our gallery is a welcoming space for both emerging and established artists.

Each month, we host an open call for artwork submissions, and we select five artists whose works will be exhibited the following month. We also feature an Artist of the Month and recognize their achievements with an award and special promotion through our gallery’s platforms.

We strive to give our artists meaningful exposure through social media, networking, and personal connections with collectors and curators. We also host creative art workshops, fun community art activities, and even live music concerts to spotlight local musicians.

The support from our local community has been heartwarming. People have welcomed our presence in this location with open arms. We truly feel empowered by their love, and we’re embracing every moment of it.

For me as an artist, this gallery has become a part of who I am. It’s my creative home—a space where I can nurture my own artistry while uplifting and serving others in their creative journeys.

I am incredibly grateful for where this path is taking me, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. Gallery Lumina isn’t just a gallery. It’s a dream unfolding, one artist at a time.
